Description : Homogenized, filtered and spray-dried fruit pulp, water soluble. The fruits collected from wild growing Camu camu (Myrciaria dubia), a bushy tree of the Amazon River tributaries and lake shores, sustainably managed by the native communities. Camu Camu is the richest natural source of Vitamin C, with far higher rates than any other known fruit. It is usually used in refreshing, ene rgizing and digestive juices. Good against flu and colds thanks to its high content of vitamin C. The bark of the tree is used to heal wounds. Bark and green fruits, when conserved in alcohol or cooked, can alleviate rheumatic pain.

Uses:

• As an antioxidant by-product f or several cosmetic and pharmaceutical uses.
• High vitamin C supplement. Prevents infections and hemorrhages. It is imp ortant in muscle, ligaments, and tendon formation. Also helps iron absorption, preventing anemia.

• Polyethylene bags in master fiber drums.
• Generally from January to June.
